Yesterday, I had the pleasure and privilege of being able to sweat my good friend WCG|Rider as he played some $10/$20nl full ring and 6-max. It was an interesting insight into higher stakes and the thought processes Doug goes through when he plays a hand. Recently, he has been experimenting with open min-raising in all positions at full-ring so it was good to see that in action.
We played against some very well known professionals like Leatherass, but overall the play at full ring didn’t seem all that superior to 3/6nl. I’m not as well versed at 6-max, but from what I saw those games were a lot more aggressive and hard to find tables with fish.
Here are a couple of the big hands that went down… I’m interested to get some feedback on the second one. My thoughts are that he has a hand QQ-99 and a turn double barrel may well have taken it down. An altogether weird spot thought…
