Cricket Gear Spree

The cricket season starts next week and in preparation I went on a bit of a shopping spree today to pick up some gear. Today was the final day of this clearance sale they have each year locally. It’s basically a factory in the middle of an industrial area where you jsut rock up and they just sell cricket gear at very good prices.

I picked up full white uniform, cricket shoes complete with rubber spikes and the coolest thing of all a crazy catch net. It kind of looks like the one picturd below, but mine is a different model. I’ve already lost one ball over the neighbours fence after a rebound went super high and floated over there. I think using it should really sharpen my relfexes not only for fielding, but for batting too. It is really good to practice in close and a late random movements of the ball with your co-ordination.
