Rohan’s Tough AA Spot

This hand is Rohan’s, it seems like a really tough spot to me. Advice appreciated!

Villain is 20/9/2.8 over 200 hands.
Very confusing spot (for me anyway). There is no reason for him to think my hand is not a monster, ive raised from UTG and then bet out into a 3 way pot.

What hands do you think the villain is raising in this spot, what is your action on the flop and plan for the hand?

Is it wrong to call flop and fold turn? is it wrong to fold flop?

  • Shove obviously. You have to decide what you’re doing with this hand on the flop. If you think you are beat, fold to the flop raise. On a wet board I would 3bet this flop, on this nice dry board I like his call and check of turn, but this must be where you must be planning to jam if you’re taking this line.

  • Hi,

He can’t be on a bluff with such raise on flop, in my humble opinion it’s obvious he’s having 99, 44, KK, AK or even AA too and you beat only AK.
Even if he’s more likely to have AK I would say you can’t simply call the raise on flop : due to the remaining stacks I see an all-in as an instant answer to his raise or fold there, turn card is needingless for you.

Just my 2 cents, if I’m completely false let me know, I’m far away of beeing a pro lol
